isaiah's first day of school: september 11, 2007.
i can't even put into words how sad i was that i couldn't be there because of work.
isaiah LOVES school. he insists on holding onto the straps of his backpack with his thumbs when he wears it. his teacher's name is miss poisson, and he can even tell you so if you ask him.
despite missing his first day, i was able to drop him off on his second day.
isaiah, hold mama's hand.
"no, i gotta hold my backpack."
i had trouble finding his classroom. down the long hallway...turn left. it looks like there are two rooms for preschool.
"oh! here's my classroom!" he drags me inside.
"oh, i gotta hang up my backpack." isaiah takes me to the little hooks, hangs up his bag, and beelines to the circle mat where some of his classmates are playing.
uh...bye, i guess, isaiah!
"bye, mama!" he waves and returns to playing.
my little boy. not even sad about leaving me. sigh. growing up too fast...
