i had to take isaiah to the doctor yesterday after he spent the previous night with a bad barking cough and a fever. poor baby. "i don't feel so good," he said.
he was so good. i am just so proud of him. he obediently stepped on the scale to be weighed and allowed the nurse to take his temperature. he held still while dr. soliven looked inside is mouth and in his ears and listened to his chest with the stethoscope. he even took the yucky tasting medicine without complaint. this is going to taste yucky, isaiah. just drink it really fast. and he did.
"after this, i get a lollipop?"
i don't know if the doctor is going to give you a lollipop, buddy, but you're getting something for being such a good boy.
he not only got a lollipop from the doctor, but a big sticker as well. "oh! i feel so good now!" of course you do, silly. you're eating a lollipop!
